PHNOM Penh, Cambodia – The Philippines is assured of a pair of gold medals in the individual 100-meter events of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games obstacle course racing (OCR) at the OCIC Wedding Center on Wednesday.
Jaymark Rodelas and Popoy Pascua overcame their respective opponents to advance to the men’s final, while Precious Cabuya and Kaizen Dela Cerna also arranged an all-Pinay showdown in the women’s individual event.

Rodelas and Pascual submitted the fastest times in the qualification with 25.0921 and 26.1896 respectively to arrange a face-off for the gold on Saturday.
Cabuya and Dela Cerna clocked 33.1278 and 34.8634 respectively to also make it to the finals in the women’s individual.
Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation president Al Agra said the times of Rodelas and Cabuya are also potential world records that will be subject for confirmation by the Guiness World Records.
OCR is making a return to the SEA Games after the Philippines swept all six events in the 2019 edition held at Filinvest Alabang.
Pascua is actually the defending champion of the individual 100-meter event.
