Unbeaten PH adds Indonesia to victims for SEA Games ice hockey hat-trick

Philippines whips Indonesia to stay unbeaten in SEA Games ice hockey
Dec 5, 2019

THE Philippines remained unscathed in the 30th Southeast Asian Games ice hockey competitions, freezing Indonesia, 8-1, Wednesday at SM Mall of Asia Skating Rink.

Carlo Tenedero didn't waste time in triggering the blizzard, firing the first goal 59 seconds into the match that set the tone in the rout, before Kenneth Stern followed suit at the 6:02 mark to up the score to 2-0.

Jonathan Nugraha did pull one back at the second period, scoring the lone goal for the Indonesians at the 32:44 mark.

The Filipinos, however, continued that barrage, scoring six goals in the third period to blow the match out of water.

Team captain John Fuglister had two goals and three assists in the win, while Tenedero had two goals to his name in the victory that upped the Philippines' record to 3-0 win-loss card.
