PATTAYA, Thailand – The two Philippine football teams face must-win situations for their bid to progress in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
The Filipinas go up against Vietnam on Monday, 6:30 p.m. local time (7:30 p.m. Philippine time) at the Chonburi FC Stadium.
Over at the 700th Anniversary in Chang Mai, the Under-22 men’s team battles Indonesia to wrap up their group stage campaign.
The Filipinas will look to stay alive in the competition after their 2-1 loss to Myanmar last Friday.

Vietnam and Myanmar currently share first place in Group A with three points, with Philippines and Malaysia at the bottom following their defeats.
The U-22 squad will look to continue its winning ways and seal a place in the semifinals after beating Myanmar, 2-0, last Friday, but faces a tough task against Indonesia, the defending SEA Games gold medalist, to close Group C.
The kick-off time of the Philippines-Indonesia match-up is also at 6:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. Manila time)
In case of a loss, the Philippines will need to wait, and hope that it becomes the best second placer among the three groups.
