Farr and Belgira swept the men’s and women’s race, respectively, in 2019 held in Laurel, Batangas. The 29-year-old Farr also copped the bronze medal in 2022 in Hanoi, Vietnam along with Gardoce.

The men’s race will come first in the 1.35-kilometer course.

Simon Servillon is also vying in Thailand.

Farr described the course as a technical one.

Meanwhile, Belgira finished fifth in the seeding run with a time of 3:29.642. The 2021 SEA Games silver medalist, Vipavee Deekaballes of Thailand, registered the best time with 3:04.290.
