MARCK Espejo and Bryan Bagunas banner the final 14-man roster of the national team for the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
After missing the 2017 edition in Malaysia, Espejo will be making his return with the Filipino Spikers joining rival-turned-teammate Bagunas.
Bagunas is still in Japan as the Asian import of Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler and will fly back to the country on November 25 barring any complications.
The two former UAAP MVPs will lead the charge with team captain John Vic De Guzman, two-time Spikers’ Turf MVP Ran Abdilla, Mark Alfafara, and Joshua Umandal under national team coach Dante Alinsunurin.
Meanwhile, five-time UAAP Best Setter Ish Polvorosa along with veteran Jessie Lopez (Air Force) and rookie Joshua Retamar will provide the playmaking.
Completing the roster are middle blockers Kim Malabunga, Francis Saura, and Rex Intal as well as liberos Ricky Marcos and Jack Kalingking.
Missing the cut were Kim Dayandante and Peter Torres, who was diagnosed with spontaneous pneumothorax last August 15.
