EFREN ‘Bata’ Reyes bowed out of the one-carom cushion semifinals when he lost to Dinh Hai Ngo of Vietnam, 100-14, on Friday in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Manila Tent Hall.
Reyes never got his rhythm in the match after Dinh won the lag and racked up 23 consecutive points.

The longest Reyes got in the table was when he clustered six straight points but by then, Dinh was already up 76-14 in the game where a point is scored when the cue ball hits the two other balls on the table in one shot.
After beating Reyes in the match, Dinh even asked for a selfie with the Filipino legend which 'The Magician’ gamely accommodated.

Even with the loss, Reyes will take home a bronze medal after he beat Thongchai Punyawee of Thailand, 100-37, in the first round.
