KUALA LUMPUR - First the good news - the Southeast Asian Games volleyball tournament is free of charge for fans who want to watch the matches.

The Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Center Hall 11 is expected to draw a good number of fans for the volleyball matches. While the games will opened be free to the public, the makeshift volleyball arena can only seat 500 people.
Filipino fans are already looking forward to the women's and men's volleyball matches of the SEA Games but are now planning to come to the venue early to be able to watch the match.
On Monday in the first day of the competition, the volleyball tournament was already drawing lines outside the venue.
"Free admission siya pero kailangan maaga kasi 500 lang ang puwede. Kapag walang umalis, hindi ka makakaupo," said a Filipino volleyball fan based here.
The Philippine women's volleyball team opens its campaign against Malaysia on Thursday at 2 p.m.
