KEVIN Pascua set a world record in winning the Southeast Asian Games gold medal in obstacle course racing at Filinvest City in Alabang.
According to the Facebook page of World OCR – Federation Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles last Tuesday, no one has broken the 30-second mark in the individual 100-meter x 10 obstacle ever in international competition.
Until Pascua on Wednesday.
Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation president Alberto Agra confirmed that Pascua’s 29.92 seconds in the second and final heat of the final set a new world record.

“Sobrang thank you especially sa OCR federation. I think maganda ‘yung suporta nila. Marami silang plans,” said Pascua.
