PATTAYA, Thailand – The Philippine 4x100-meter women’s freestyle team bagged the country’s second gold medal in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games at the Sport Authority of Thailand Aquatics Center in Bangkok.
Kayla Sanchez, Xiandi Chua, Chloe Isleta, and Heather White finished with a time of three minutes, 44.26 seconds to beat reigning champion Singapore by 1.27 seconds. Vietnam finished third with a clocking of 3:47.47.

Sanchez was the anchor in the race to bag the gold in her SEA Games debut since joining the Philippine team in 2023 after a nationality switch from Canada.
