JONES Llabres Inso made sure there are no heartbreaks this time, copping the silver medal in the men's taolu taijijian in the wushu competitions of the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Monday at World Trade Center in Pasay City.
Missing out on a podium spot after finishing fourth in men's taijiquan, the Filipino bet got a solid score of 9.65 that propelled him to the top two.
Choon How Loh of Malaysia got his second gold medal with his score of 9.68, while Hosea Wong Zheng Yu of Brunei took the bronze with his score of 9.60.
Daniel Parantac, who got a bronze in men's taijiquan on Sunday, could only finish sixth with his 9.54.
Meanwhile, Thornton Sayan finished fifth in the men's taolu nandao/nangun combine after amassing a score of 19.19.
He got 9.60 in nangun, which was combined to his 9.59 in nandao a day ago.
Mohammad Adi Dalihin Roslan of Brunei got the gold with his 19.28, followed by Indonesia's Harris Horatius for silver (19.26), and Vietnam's Quoc Khanh Pham for the bronze (19.25).
Johnzenth Gajo, meanwhile, sits at fourth in the men's daoshu/ gunshu combine after notching a score of 9.63 in daoshu.
The gunshu event will be on Tuesday.
