JEORDAN Dominguez made it four gold medals for the Philippine poomsae team in the Southeast Asian Games as he ruled the freestyle individual men’s event on Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Dominguez got 7.433 points to beat Ngoc Minh Hy Nguyen of Vietnam, who scored 6.999, while Indonesia’s Wawan Saputra got 6.633 for the bronze medal.

The Philippines swept the male-exclusive events with Rodolfo Reyes Jr. ruling the recognized men’s event before joining brothers Dustin Jacob and Raphael Enrico Mella in winning the men’s recognized team event.
Jocel Lyn Ninobla won the women’s recognized poomsae.
Filipinos also bagged four silver medals.
Ninobla, Rinna Babanto and Aidaine Krishia Laxa placed second in women’s team poomsae with a 7.999 score.
Thailand won with 8.399 points.

Janna Dominique Oliva placed second in freestyle poomsae individual women with a score of 6.766, bowing to Vietnam’s Thi Mong Quyn Nguyen, who got 7.433 points
Oliva, Juvenile Faye Crisostomo, Marvin Mori, Patrick King Perez and Darius Venerable earned 6.866 points to finish with silver in freestyle poomsae mixed team, as Vietnam topped the event with a 7.799 score.
