The Philippines has never lost a men’s MLBB SEA Games tournament since its debut in 2019, winning three straight gold medals. This year’s SIBOL men’s team carries the weight of that legacy, with expectations high for them to extend the nation’s golden run.
In the women’s division, Indonesia enters as the defending champion after taking home the first-ever women’s MLBB gold in 2023. But the SIBOL women’s lineup aims to challenge that legacy.
Tournament Schedule and Format
The Men’s Group Stage, which takes place on December 13, will see 10 teams split into two groups of five, while the Women’s division, which will happen on December 14, will have nine teams divided into Group A (4 teams) and Group B (5 teams).
The top three men’s teams from each group move on to the Knockout Stage on December 15, while the bottom two in both groups bow out.

In the Women’s category, teams finishing in the top three of Groups A and B will progress to the Knockouts set on December 16. The fourth-placed team in Group A and the two bottom teams in Group B will be eliminated. All Group Stage matches are played in a best-of-two format.
The Knockout Stage will feature best-of-five matches, including the semifinals and bronze match, while the gold-medal match will be a best-of-seven showdown.
December 17 will be the date for both division's medal matches.
