BANGKOK - Gilas Pilipinas Women clinched a semifinal spot by beating Singapore, 92-59, on Sunday in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games at the Nimibutr Stadium.
The Filipina ballers went 2-0 to top Group B, gaining an outright spot in the semifinals.
Kacey Dela Rosa starred for the Philippines in the win, scoring 22 points, six rebounds, and two steals, while Sarah Heyn had 14 points for Gilas Women.
Gilas Women led by as many as 35 points after racing to a 25-18 lead at the end of the first quarter, and outscoring Singapore, 51-31, in the second half.
