KUALA LUMPUR - Eric Cray successfully defended the title in his pet event, the men's 400m hurdles, in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Tuesday night.
Cray clocked 50.03 seconds to win his third consecutive men's 400m hurdles gold in the SEA Games.
It was in the same event that Cray qualified for the Rio De Janiero Olympics last year.
Cray will still compete on Tuesday night in the 100m run where he will also defend the SEA Games gold.
