MICHAEL Ver Anton Comaling topped the men’s beach triathle for Philippine modern pentathlon’s second gold medal in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
Comaling registered 14 minutes, 10.17 seconds in the run-swim-shoot event of modern pentathlon.

The 25-year-old Comaling is popularly known as ‘Michael Ver’ and was once inside 'Bahay ni Kuya' for the 'Pinoy Big Brother' TV show.
The celebrity-athlete was actually successful in defending his title, as he won the same event in 2019, the last time modern pentathlon was held.
