SINGAPORE — A man was found dead on Wednesday outside the Swissotel The Stamford where several athletes seeing action in the 28th Southeast Asian Games are housed.
According to a report by The New Paper, the 33-year-old man was believed to have plunged from the upper floors of the hotel close to where the Philippine secretariat is located.
“It wasn’t pretty,” said Singaporean sprinter Calvin Kang, who saw the body in front of the hotel.
On May 30, an Australian woman also fell to her death from the 60th floor of the hotel.
A member of the Philippine secretariat told Spin.ph the hotel has locked all the sliding doors of its balconies to prevent similar incidents.
