KUALA LUMPUR — Colin Syquia won gold in the 29th Southeast Asian Games in the show jumping individual competition on Monday at the 3Q Equestrian Centre in Rawang.
Riding Adventure E, Syquia scored 37.63 to beat Malaysia competitors for the gold.
The Philippines last won gold in equestrian in 2011 courtesy of Diego Lorenzo in the same event.
Syquia's gold is the 23rd for the Philippines in this edition of the SEA Games.
