CARLO Biado begins his gold medal bid in the 30th Southeast Asian Games when he sees action in the men’s 9-ball doubles on Tuesday at the Manila Hotel Tent.
Biado will be teaming up with Johann Chua in the pre-quarterfinals where they will be facing Kok Jken Yung and Muhammad Almie of Malaysia.
Jeffrey Ignacio and Warren Kiamco will also be the second Philippine team in the men’s 9-ball doubles and will take on Darryl Chia Soo Yew and Ibrahim Bin Amir of Malaysia.
Aside from 9-ball doubles, Biado will also be seeing action in the 10-ball singles.
Rubilen Amit and Chezka Centeno also open their campaign in the women’s 10-ball singles with Amit facing Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan of Thailand.

Centeno, the reigning 9-ball gold medalist, drew a first round bye.
