BRANDON Ganuelas-Rosser completes the Gilas Pilipinas team for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
Head coach Norman Black revealed the final player to make it to the Gilas SEA Games squad to be Ganuelas-Rosser, giving the national team a veteran big man for the biennial meet.

Black thanked TNT officials led team governor Ricky Vargas, team manager Jojo Lastimosa, and head coach Chot Reyes for allowing BGR to play for the Philippines despite the SEA Games coinciding with the ongoing PBA 50th Season Philippine Cup.
“They (TNT) were kind enough to loan him,” Black told SPIN.ph. “Mr. Ricky Vargas, Chot Reyes, along with Jojo Lastimosa were kind enough to loan us another big, so we could complete the lineup.”
Based from the SEA Games schedule of December 9-20, Ganuelas-Rosser will only miss two games for the Tropang 5G - against NLEX on December 13 and Blackwater on December 19.
BGR's veteran smarts
BGR gives valuable experience to the Gilas roster, having been part of the gold medal-winning team that ruled the SEA Games in Cambodia two years ago.
Prior to the PBA, he also gained experience in regional competitions, having played in the Asean Basketball League.
Ganuelas-Rosser joins Justin Brownlee, Ray Parks, Matthew Wright, Remy Martin, Thirdy Ravena, Jason Brickman, Dave Ildefonso, Ange Kouame, Veejay Pre, Mike Phillips, and Kymani Ladi in the national team roster.
Initially scheduled to start practice on Monday, Black said he is pushing back preparations according to availability of players. Plans include twice-a-day practices and a camp at the Inspire Sports Academy.
“The way I look at it, we will probably get 23 days of practice in and we would probably do twice-a-day,” said Black.
