BRYAN Bagunas and Marck Espejo lead the players invited by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) to the national training pool for the Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
Kim Malabunga, Ish Polvorosa and Joshua Umandal are also expected to be back from the squad that placed second in the 2019 SEA Games the Philippines hosted.

Also invited were Joseph Bello, Michaelo Buddin, Leo Ordiales, Jann Sumagui and Rwenzmel Taguibolos of NU, JP Bugaoan, Mason Njigha and Manuel Sumanguid III of Cignal, Kim Dayandante, Vince Lorenzo and Vince Mangulabnan of Cotabato, Jay de la Noche of UST, Jade Disquitado of D'Navigators and Noel Kampton of La Salle.
PNVF has not set a training venue for the national squad.
Odjie Mamon has been appointed interim coach with Dante Alinsunurin, who led the national squad to second behind Indonesia in 2019, taking a job in club volleyball.
Mamon will be in charge during the SEA Games, set May 5 to 17, before the PNVF brings in Sergio Veloso from Brazil.
