AGATHA Wong claimed her sixth gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games on Sunday morning.
Wong ruled the women’s taijiquan-taijijian event at the Multipurpose Space Second Floor Ratthaprasasanphakdi Building Government Complex.
The Filipina wushu athlete retained her supremacy with a combined score of 19.556 to beat Brunei’s Basma Lachkar with a score of 19.546.
Malaysia’s Sydney Chin took the bronze with 19.523.
The 27-year-old Wong captured her gold medals in 2017 in the taijiquan, 2019 in taijijian and taijiquan, 2021 in taijijian, and 2023 in the taijijian + taijiquan events.
