IT'S been six years since Rubilen Amit last won a gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games.
The 38-year-old remains aone of the country's top cue artists, but has found herself on a dry spell in the regional competition.
Amit last won gold in the 10-ball event women's singles in Naypyitaw, Myanmar in 2013.
In 9-ball Amit has missed out on the gold for the past four editions.
What better time for Amit to show that she's still the standard bearer for billiards in the country than a solid showing in the biennial games to be held in the country.
Eyes will be on the 2013 WPA Women's World Ten-ball Champion as she plays in three events.
Amit will see action in the women's singles in both the 9-ball and Ten-ball events, before she teams up with Chezka Centeno in the women's doubles in 9-ball.
Billiards events will start on Dec. 3 at the Manila Hotel Tent.
