[All eyes will be on the Filipino athletes when the country hosts the Southeast Asian Games come November 30. And the pressure is on the Philippines to deliver not only a successful hosting of the Games but also win the overall championship - a feat it achieved the last time it hosted the conclave in 2005. The country is targeting at least 120 gold medals. Before the Games commence, Spin.ph lists down 15 of the Philippines' best gold-medal hopes. Here's the last part.]
STARCRAFT II player Caviar Napoleon Acampado, more popularly known as “EnDerr,” has a chance to play his way into the record books this 30th Southeast Asian Games.
This is the first time in the history of the biennial multi-sport event that esports will be an official medal sport, which couldn’t have come at a more opportune time for the Philippine national team Sibol and the veteran Zerg player.
EnDerr, who has been playing competitive StarCraft since he was 12 years old, is looking add to his already crowded trophy case as the country's representative.
Despite having to juggle his professional gaming career with studies and a day job, Acampado has established himself as a fixture in both local and international tournaments.
The 26-year-old is coming off a runner-up finish at the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) SEA Qualifier, so expect him to bounce back in a big way.

And EnDerr will be extra motivated against Vietnam, where WESG regional champion Tran “MeomaikA” Hong Puc is from.
ESports National Association of the Philippines secretary general Ren Vitug has even touted Acampado and StarCraft II “a potential SEA Games gold winner” as the federation aims to bag majority of the six medals at stake.
Esports competition is scheduled from December 5 to 10 at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
