GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Quezon City will face Negros Occidental, while Taguig City will battle Davao Del Norte in the final four after overcoming their respective foes on Wednesday of the Batang Pinoy 2025 boys basketball 3x3 tournament at the Holy Trinity College Compound.
Quezon City, composed of Far Eastern University-Diliman players Jastien Jay Dagcutan, Jose Antonio Lopez, and Duke Andrew Santos, and Dominic Joseph Avila, defeated San Fernando, La Union, 21-12, in the quarterfinals.
Negros Occidental, with players from Bacolod Tay Tung High School in former Basketball Without Borders Camp member Paul Barcelona, Thirdy Sebuan, John Steven Sondia, and Alfred Ysulan, Caloocan City, 21-12, in the final eight.

Taguig City of HSL Braille Basketball’s LeBron James Toledo, Renz Basilio, Robert Besana, and Hans William Canceran, overcame Binan City via default, as Davao Del Norte of Christian Labjata, Jhumel Jay Calamba, Jarwen Etiong, and Jose Nepa, beat Valencia City, 21-18.
Quezon City and Negros Occidental battle it out for a place in the final at 8:40 a.m., while Taguig and Davao Del Norte square off in the other semifinal at 9 a.m.
The boys’ final is at 10:25 a.m.
In the girls’ side, Davao City meets Caloocan, while Bulacan goes up against Cagayan De Oro in the semifinals on Thursday.
Davao City won over South Cotabato, 19-16; Caloocan overcame Davao Del Norte, 22-13; Bulacan beat Puerto Princesa, 19-13; and Cagayan de Oro walloped Davao De Oro, 21-5, in the quarterfinals.
The Davao City-Caloocan City tiff is at 8 a.m., followed by the Bulacan-Cagayan De Oro tussle at 8:20 a.m.
