PUERTO Princesa City will host the Batang Pinoy national championships set Aug. 25 to 31.
Philippine Sports Commission chairman William Ramirez said they are discussing the details of the hosting with the local government of Puerto Princesa.
“We have happily accepted the offer of Puerto Prinses to host the nationals,” said Ramirez.
About 10,000 athletes from 21 sports are expected to compete in Puerto Princesa, after the qualifying legs in Tagum City, Iloilo City and Iligan City.
Eleven other sports which didn’t go through the qualifying legs will also be played in the national finals.
