PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte will be at hand to inaugurate the Philippine Sports Institute (PSI), the pet project of the current administration of the Philippine Sports Commission.
According to a media advisory, Duterte will serve as a keynote speaker in the inauguration set January 17 at the PhilSports Arena.
The PSI is the major grassroots project of the PSC under current chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez.
Several consultative meetings with representatives from the Lower House, Upper House, LGUs, colleges, and universities have been held over the past few months during the planning stage for the PSI.
