PHILIPPINE Olympic Committee (POC) president Jose ‘Peping’ Cojuangco and Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines (Abap) president Ricky Vargas have formally submitted their certificate of candidacy on Wednesday.

Also filing their certificates of candidacy were cycling federation president and Tagaytay City Rep. Abraham 'Bambol' Tolentino, an ally of Vargas, and table tennis head Ting Ledesma.

Cojuangco and Vargas filed their certificates of candidacy on Wednesday at the POC office inside Philsports Complex in Pasig City before the 12 noon deadline, putting their fate to an election committee that will now scrutinize their eligibility.
