The multi-sport showpiece for athletes aged 17 years old and below will hold its closing ceremonies on Thursday evening at the Acharon Sports Complex but some events will finish on Friday.

Baguio City is in second with 19 golds, 13 silvers, and 16 bronzes even as the Batang Pinoy technical working group issued an apology for the error in its medal count on Tuesday that indicated it had won 23 gold medals.

“Following a thorough review, it was determined that the issue resulted from a technical and system error. After verification and system updates by 12:00 p.m., the official gold medal count was corrected.”
