SWIMMER Ronald Subido and trackster Arman Dino swept their events at the close of the 5th PSC-Philspada National Paralympic Games at the Marikina Sports Center.
Subido captured the men’s S9 50m and 100m freestyle on Friday, following his conquest of the 100m butterfly and 400m freestyle earlier in the competition.
Subido is an amputee who won a silver and bronze medal in last year’s Asean Para Games in Singapore.
In athletics, Dino captured the men’s T47 200m run before helping the national team rule the 4x100m relay, adding to his 100m and 400m run gold medals.
Paralympian Adeline Ancheta copped the gold in women’s powerlifting as the bronze medalist in the Sydney Paralympics in 2000 claimed first place by lifting 100 kilograms in the -86kg division.
Meanwhile, Solid North beat Cainta, 57-54, to capture the wheelchair basketball gold.
