Bejino claimed one silver and two bronze medals in the 2018 Asian Para Games while competing in the S6 and SM6 (5-6) classification or athletes with limp impairment.
“We are happy to get great news that para athlete swimmer Gary Bejino has earned a slot at the Tokyo Paralympics, bringing the present total to five,” said Philippine Paralympic Committee president Mike Barredo.
“Hopefully, Team Philippines can garner a few more to increase our chances of getting medals at the Games. We thank the PSC for its continuing support in spite of the challenging times,” Barredo added.
