After winning the country’s first-ever gold in the Asian Para Games on Sunday, Gawilan added another medal, placing second in the men’s 100-meter freestyle S7 won by Singapore’s Toh Wei Soong.
Medina, meanwhile, reached the finals of the women’s singles TT8 in table tennis but the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games bronze medalist bowed to Mao Jingdian of China, 11-8, 11-3, 11-6, in the battle for the gold.
The Philippine delegation now has a 2-4-4 gold-silver-bronze medal output following Tuesday’s action in Indonesia.
