NES Pamilar tries to get a small measure of revenge when his league-leading Cagayan Valley battles his former squad Far Eastern University in the Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference on Friday at The Arena in San Juan.
Pamilar, the long-time FEU coach who was replaced by Kid Santos during the Christmas break of the UAAP volleyball tournament last year, will face his former wards at 2 p.m.
"Mas dodoblehin ko pa ang training," said Pamilar. "Hindi pa ako tapos sa ginawa nila (FEU) sa akin."
The Lady Rising Suns, led by stars Aiza Maizo, Angge Tabaquero, Sandra delos Santos and Bhebs Pineda, are on top with a 4-0 win-loss card but Pamilar said he won't be complacent. They they hold practices in the evening to make sure that everyone in the team, including those with day jobs, can attend.
FEU, on the other hand, is winless in three games.
The Lady Tamaraws lost in three quick sets to undermanned Smart in the opening game, were swept by Air Force, and dropped a five-setter against Meralco.
Smart and Philippine Air Force, both coming off losses, collide at 4p.m.
The Air Women will lean on Judy Caballejo and Joy Cases as they go up against an undermanned but talented line up of the Net Spikers.
Smart is now in third spot with a 3-1 card, while Air Force is at the bottom (0-3), tied with FEU and Philippine Navy.
