UNIVERSITY of Visayas kept its clean slate with a 75-63 win over Colegio San Agustin Bacolod on Thursday, a day after stunning Ateneo-A in the 18th University Games men’s basketball competitions in Bacolod City.
The Lancers of head coach Felix Belano registered their fourth win in Group B, which included a 94-84 victory over an Ateneo squad led by Kiefer Ravena, Gwyne Capacio, and Jerie Pingoy on Wednesday.
UAAP runner-up University of Santo Tomas, meanwhile, is also unbeaten after the Kevin Ferrer-led team defeated Hercor College, 107-81, and Saint Louis University, 113-58.
Ateneo-B, which is backstopped by Chris Newsome, has chalked up victories over Holy Cross of Davao College, 76-37, and University of Saint La Salle, 67-52.
