EMAN Bacosa kept his unblemished record and made his famous father proud after emerging victorious during the 'Thrilla in Manila' anniversary celebration at the Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday.
The Filipino lightweight prospect scored a unanimous decision against Bohol native Nico Salado to hike his perfect record to 7-0.
Pacman's son
The 21-year-old Bacosa won by scores of 58-55, 58-55, 60-53.
Bacosa of course, is the son of legendary eighth-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, who spearheaded the entire fight card celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic Thrilla in Manila heavyweight championship match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
It was the second bout for the Filipino this year, but his first fighting under such a big major fight card headlined by Melvin Jerusalem’s WBC minimumweight title defense against Siyakholwa Kuse of South Africa.

The name Pacquiao in bold letters were stitched into the waist part of Bacosa's boxing shorts.
The Bacosa-Salado six-round bout serves as part of the supporting card of the Jerusalem-Kuse title match.
Salado now sports a 2-2-1 record (1 KO).
