THIS early, the Philippine Olympic Committee has already committed a house and lot as incentive to medalists at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Abraham 'Bambol' Tolentino said the POC has already allotted lots for the LA Games medalists in Tagaytay City, where the POC chief is the incumbent mayor.
The houses will stand near those of Paris Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and bronze winners Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas, which were blessed on Sunday morning.
"Nakahanda na. Kaya ko pa magbigay ng lima," said Tolentino.

“Bilangin niyo na lang kung ilan ang gold dun sa lima,” Tolentino added in what also appears to be his prediction with still three years to go before the actual Olympics.
The Philippines will look for a repeat, or even an improvement from its two-gold, two-bronze finish in the Paris Olympics.
The two, of course, came from Yulo after bagging the floor exercise and vault mints last August.
The house given to Yulo, Petecio, and Villegas are two stories with Yulo, to one’s surprise, getting a much bigger lot area.
“Sobrang blessed and grateful. Malaking tulong po ‘yun,” said Yulo.
Petecio, meanwhile, has already made furnishings and fixtures to her new home, her second in Tagaytay City with the first one also handed to her when she won the silver in the Tokyo Olympics.
Her house included an Olympic logo in the second floor.
Natuwa ako sa result kasi ‘yan ‘yung gusto kong design most especially ‘yung Olympic ring,” said Petecio, who added she got the idea of the Olympic ring from the house of fellow Olympian Eumir Marcial.
