RIO DE JANEIRO — With the taekwondo competition in the Rio Olympics more than a week away, Kirstie Elaine Alora relaxes and keeps her mind off the pressure through an activity a few of the Filipino athletes do in their free time at the Athletes Village - DOTA.

Alora, who is scheduled to see action on August 20, plays DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) at times after training, and she's not the only one enamored with the popular video game among the Philippine Olympic Delegates.

Also playing DOTA here at the Athletes Village is weightlifter Nestor Colonia, who wrapped up his campaign in the Olympics on Sunday (Monday, Manila time).

In fact, Colonia brought his own computer but hasn’t used it as regularly as he can while preparing for his competition. Instead, it was Alora who has been using Colonia’s computer so that she could play during training breaks.

However, after his Olympic stint ended, Colonia himself sought ways to help Alora stay relaxed using his computer. To join the jin, the Filipino weightlifter borrowed the computer of one of the volunteers of the Philippine delegation.
