NESTHY Petecio expressed her desire to compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics despite the uncertainty over boxing's continued inclusion in the Games program.

The Paris Olympic bronze medalist said she intends to do it all over again and try to qualify for the Olympics in four years for one sole reason - to win a gold medal that has eluded her in the biggest stage of sports.

“Sa suporta po na binibigay na mga Pilipino at mga tao na nasa ibang bansa, sinasabi ko sa sarili ko na eto talaga ‘yung salitang ‘Walang hinto hangga’t walang ginto’, hindi natatapos sa akin,” said Petecio during a media roundtable interview organized by Coins.ph where she was recently named as a brand ambassador.
