LAUREN Hoffman finished last in Heat 3 of the repechage round of the women’s 400m hurdles, ending her campaign in the 2024 Paris Olympics athletics competitions at the Stade de Paris.
Hoffman clocked 58.28 seconds to place eighth in the third and final heat, while finishing 20th among the 21 hurdlers in the repechage round.
The top two finishers in each of the three heats in the repechage advanced to the semifinals.
Hoffman placed 37th out of 39 competitors during Round 1 with a time of 57.84 seconds in Heat 1.
Meanwhile, John Cabang Tolentino looks to advance to the semifinals via the repechage in the men’s 110m hurdles.
Tolentino timed 13.66 seconds to finish sixth in Heat 1 to be relegated to the repechage round.
He finished 32nd among 39 runners.
