FANS get to relive the life story of Hidilyn Diaz in a television drama on Saturday.
The Filipina Olympic silver medalist will be portrayed by young star Jane Oineza in Maalaala Mo Kaya, the ABS-CBN show announced on its social media accounts on Thursday.

The Philippines is celebrating the weightlifter’s exloits and now her life, two decades after Mansueto “Onyok” Velasco was featured in a film after bagging the light flyweight silver medal in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Diaz placed second to Hsu Shu Ching of Chinese Taipei in the Rio De Janeiro Olympics, ending a 20-year medal drought for the Philippines.
