Chinese gymnasts Hu Jiafei and Qin Xinyi took the top two podium finishes with scores of 50.699 and 50.566, respectively. But with China already qualified, Malabuyo earned a trip to Paris as the best placer in the continental championship without an Olympic berth prior to the tournament.
