Converge import situation
Converge has yet to sign a new import to take the place of Jamaal Franklin.
CONVERGE is waiting for the PBA Governors’ Cup quarterfinal schedule, and has yet to announce its replacement import.
A team source said the FiberXers have not signed an import to take the place of Jamaal Franklin, who was dropped after their final elimination-round game, a loss to Ginebra.
"None pa po. Hopefully soon," a member of the Converge coaching staff told Spin.ph when asked about their import replacement.
After going 6-5 in the eliminations for seventh place, Converge will play against a team that holes a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.

THE PBA will hold its 2024 All-Star Weekend in Bacolod City.
The level of excitement is high after an impressive All-Star Game in Passi City in Iloilo and the PBA hopes to deliver another solid show in the City of Smiles next year.
The All-Stars will be held in Bacolod for the first time since 2008.
A new playing venue is under construction and is set to be completed in time for the All-Star Game.
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said the league is also considering another potential host aside from Bacolod, but Benitez was quick to seal the deal.
