Rain or Shine holds off TNT
GIAN Mamuyac had 21 points on 7 of 14 shooting as Rain or Shine defeated struggling TNT, 106-100, in the PBA on Tour on Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Anton Asisitio delivered 16 points off the bench, including four straight in the endgame, while Santi Santillan added 13 points as the Elasto Painters notched their sixth win in seven games.
Glenn Khobuntin went 10 for 20 and wound up with 24 points for TNT, winless in seven games.
Jaydee Tungcab had 16 points on 6 of 16 shooting for the Tropang Giga.
Pasaol powers Meralco past NLEX
ALVIN Pasaol came off the bench to score 25 points, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc, to power Meralco to a 96-83 victory over NLEX in the PBA on Tour on Wednesday in Pasig.
Raymond Almazan had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Bolts, who notched their sixth win in nine games.
Don Trollano delivered 17 points off the bench, going 6 for 15, for the Road Warriors.
Matt Nieto went 6 for 10 and finished with 15 points, which was matched by Sean Anthony on 6 of 20 shooting. NLEX slid to 3-5.
