La Salle downs Stallion

TO help promote women’s football, national women’s team goalkeeper Olivia McDaniel is seeing action in the PFF Women’s League along with sister Chandler.
Their domestic league debut with Stallion, however, ended in a 0-4 loss to La Salle on Saturday at the National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
Maria Lourdes Layacan was first to score, getting a goal in the 18th minute. Alisha Del Campo scored in the 25th and 89th minutes. Angelica Teves had a goal in the 33rd minute.
Hakuoh University routs Ateneo

CHINESE Taipei defeated Rain or Shine, 98-79, win in the William Jones Cup opener on Saturday night at the Taipei Heping Gymnasium.
The Elasto Painters had a cold start — import Nick Evans was held scoreless in the first half — and were unable to recover.
Andrei Caracut had 18 points, naturalized Filipino Ange Kouame from the Ivory Coast had 15 points and 16 rebounds, while Evans wound up with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Rain or Shine takes on Chinese Taipei-B on Sunday.
