Jeremiah Gray out for Season 48
The Ginebra guard will be out for PBA Season 48 after undergoing surgery to repair his right knee. Gray suffered the injury on the final day of the preseason exhibition series PBA on Tour on July 30.
Gray also had to stay on the sidelines for a while due to knee injury sustained in 2021 while playing for TNT in the PBA 3x3 Season One.
Rajko returns

FORMER Smart Gilas head coach Rajko Toroman is back to coach in the Philippines.
Sources said the Serbian mentor, who led the Philippine team from 2009 to 2011, has been tapped as consultant for Converge in the PBA and College of St. Benilde in the NCAA.
Toroman was on the coaching staff of the Indonesia squad that defeated the Philippines in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games gold medal match.
Rain or Shine ends run of futility

ANGE Kouame showed the way as Rain or Shine in the extra minutes as the Elasto Panters finally scored a win in the Jones Cup, outlasting Iran in double overtime, 98-90, on Wednesday in Taipei.
Kouame scored 14 of his game-high 20 points in the extra periods, and finished with nine rebounds and nine blocks.
Andrei Caracut added 19 points, while Santi Santillan came up with 17 markers for Rain or Shine, which improved to 1-4.
