The 38-year-old guard had 22 points, hitting two triples in a 19-6 run in the second quarter, as the Gin Kings took control in the best-of-seven series.
Justin Brownlee led all scorers, delivering 28 points, while making 13 rebounds. Christian Standhardinger added 16 and Scottie Thompson had 14 points.
Andrew Nicholson had 27 points for PBA guest team Bay Area.
Brownlee update
JUSTIN Brownlee is eager to continue for Ginebra, shrugging off ankle pain.
He said there is nothing to worry about and he is ready for Game Two on Wednesday.
“I came down on my ankle. I think it was a play where I got a lay-up and came down to my foot. I’m okay though. It was just a little twist and turn. Got hurt for quite a few minutes but I got over it,” said Brownlee.
“No injuries in the finals, hopefully. Pray to God,” said Brownlee.
