NCAA denies Letran appeal
THE NCAA has upheld its decision suspend Letran guard Fran Yu for one game, which means the Knights skipper will miss the Season 98 title decider against College of St. Benilde.
Yu was sent off after sticking an elbow to Mark Sangco’s chin midway through the second quarter of Game Two.
"There was no new evidence presented by CSJL as required by the NCAA rules to lift the suspension and CSJL did not contest the judgment call of the game officials," the NCAA said in a statement.
