SIKHAR, Bahrain - Muay joined Team Philippines' golden club in the 3rd Asian Youth Games here.
Lyre Anie Ngina topped the girls' waikru 14-15 final on Sunday for muay's first gold in the meet - and fourth overall for Team Philippines.

The 14-year-old Ngina accumulated a total score of 9.00 to beat Auryelle Xzandra Bobby of Malaysia, who finished with 8.80 to cop the silver medal.
The gold came less than 24 hours after PI Durden Wangkay ruled the boys' 200 meter run in athletics at the Isa Sports City Stadium.

Counting the victories of Kram Airam Carpio in pencak silat and Charlie Ratcliff in traditional MMA, the Filipinos have now hiked their golden haul to four, with more expected to come later in the day.
The Grade 9 student based in Baguio City is the daughter of former national team member Edsel Ngina.
She said it wasn't the result she's expecting.
"Heading to the competition alam ko kasi magagaling yung mga makakalaban ko kaya hindi ko rin sure kung makaka-gold ba talaga," she said.
"Ang saya-saya ko po nung nakita ko yung score ko," added Ngina, giggling like what a girl of her age usually does when she sees her crush.
Ngina plans to continue practicing and hone her skills in the hope of someday joining the senior national team of muay.
