MARK Bryan Dula of Parañaque City ended his debut in the Batang Pinoy Luzon leg swimming competitions with five gold medals on Wednesday at the Isabela Sports Complex
Dula, 12, had a Batang Pinoy debut to remember as he ruled the 200-meter backstroke, 100m backstroke, 100m butterfly, and the 50m butterfly to add to his 50m backstroke victory on Tuesday.
Dula said he is using the competition as a preparation for the Palarong Pambansa in Davao.
Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh has now won four gold medals after ruling the 200m and 400m individual medley.
In athletics, Ron Gabriel Villa of Dasmariñas captured the boys’ discus throw, Marvelyn Canon of Bulacan ruled the girls’ long jump, and Leslie De Lima of Camarines Sur won gold in the girls’ 1,500m run.
