    Kenneth Chua, Krizzia Tabora honored by Team Prima as top bowlers of the year

    Team Prima honors its top athletes of 2015.

    NATIONAL bowlers Kenneth Chua and Krizziah Tabora were given the 2015 Prima Pasta Bowler of the Year awards at the V Corporate Centre in Makati City.

    Tabora won back-to-back female Bowler of the Year awards. She ruled the TBAM Open and was a member of the Philippine women’s team that won bronze in the Singapore Southeast Asian Games.

    Chua, 24, bagged his second male Bowler of the Year award after winning his first in 2013. He was the unanimous choice for the award after topping three tournaments this year and posting four perfect games.

    “I felt really happy, fulfilled and proud with my bowler of the year award because all of the efforts and hard work that I gave in my training had paid off again,” said Chua, who gave credit to his parents and Japanese coach Madoka Amano.

    Chua won the titles in this year’s PTBA Open Mixed Open Masters, SLETBA Open Masters Champion, Philippine National Open Masters.

    Brother and sister junior bowlers Bea Hernandez and Enzo Hernandez grabbed their second straight Junior Bowler of the Year awards. Bea rolled her first career perfect game during the Asian Schools Bowling Championships in Hong Kong.

    Eboy Farr took his second straight Cyclist of the Year award, while also honored were Cha Pagdilao (photographer of the year), Ghiselle Bautista (girls’ junior badminton), Pingkoy Salvado (boys’ junior badminton), Aires Montilla (women’s badminton), Gregg Paz (men’s badminton), Clarence Tiu (male bowler of the Year for Cebu), Xyrra Cabusas (female bowler of the tear for Cebu), Duke Gella (most improved male bowler), and Dale Lazo (most improved female bowler).
