GUILIVER Clive Clemente scooped two gold medals in swimming on Tuesday to bring his output to three in the 2019 Batang Pinoy Visayas leg at the Iloilo Sports Complex.
The 14-year-old Clemente won the boys 13-15 400-meter individual medley in five minutes, 18.92 seconds, and captured the boys 13-15 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 34.48 seconds.
Clemente won the 200-meter individual medley on Monday.
The Antique National High School standout is eyeing two more gold medals on Wednesday in the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke.
“My goal coming here is to win five gold medals and I hope to win two more tomorrow (today),” said the San Jose, Antique native.
Meanwhile, Iloilo City won six golds in taekwondo, two in swimming, and two in chess to grab the lead in the medal tally.
